Employee Assistance Program

The University of Connecticut Health Center Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides statewide coverage through the availability of an affiliate network of providers, including Beacon Behavioral Health, Behavioral Health Consultants, Danbury Hospital Community Center for Behavioral Health, Institute Medical Group, and Select Behavioral Health. These are private practice clinical groups who are staffed by expert and skilled clinicians who have specialized training in the field of employee assistance.

They provide assessment, brief counseling, and referral services in strategic locations around the state. These clinicians are at least master's prepared, with many being at the doctoral level.

Affiliate offices are located in Avon, Colchester, Danbury, Fairfield, Farmington, Glastonbury, Guilford, Hamden, Hartford, Norwich, Tolland, and Waterbury. The affiliate network functions independently; however, they are directly accountable to the manager of the University of Connecticut Health Center Employee Assistance Program.
