The nationally-known faculty of the Occupational and Environmental Health Center engage in extensive research, teaching, consulting, and seeing patients. It includes a wide variety of disciplines, including one of the largest groups of board-certified occupational physicians of any university in the country, as well as ergonomists, bio-engineers, and epidemiologists. Most are also trained in public health.

Professional staff include occupational medicine residents with extensive medical training, certified industrial hygienists with experience working at OSHA and academic centers, certified EAP counselors, public health professionals, bio-engineers, and graduate research assistants.
